North Kitsap 13-year-old Babe Ruth team places third at state

The North Kitsap Babe Ruth 13-year-old team tied for third place at the state Babe Ruth tournament Sunday in Ellensburg. North Kitsap fell to Ellensburg, the eventual state champion, 8-5 in the semi-final game Sunday. Ellensburg will advance to the Pacific Northwest Regional Tournament in Idaho Falls, Idaho, Aug. 2-7.
