Kingston wins in first round of state baseball tournament

The Kingston High baseball team defeated Sehome High 12-11 today in the first round of the Class 2A state baseball tournament in Auburn. The Buccaneers (17-5) play a quarterfinal game at 4 p.m. today against W.F. West High (20-3) of Chehalis. The winner of that game will play in the state semifinals May 28 at Yakima’s County Stadium.
