North Kitsap runs past Port Angeles, North Mason

The North Kitsap High girls and boys track teams placed first in a meet Thursday at home against North Mason and Port Angeles high schools. The North Kitsap boys racked up 90 points. North Mason placed second on the boys side, with 46, and Port Angeles scored 45. The North Kitsap girls scored 109 points, ahead of Port Angeles’ 47 and North Mason’s 33.

North Kitsap’s next meet is April 29 at Klahowya Secondary School in Silverdale. Events start at 3 p.m.

SOCCER

Kingston ties Bremerton

The Kingston High boys soccer team tied Bremerton High Thursday, 0-0. Goalkeeper Jason Kramberger recorded the shutout. The Buccaneers have not scored a goal in their past three games. They travel to Port Angeles High to play the Roughriders April 27. Kickoff is at 6:45 p.m.
