Kingston tops Sequim in overtime (Tuesday)
The Kingston High boys soccer team defeated league rival Sequim High School Tuesday in Sequim, 1-0. Chad Trask scored the game’s only goal two minutes into a sudden-death overtime period on an assist from Brian Bain.
The Buccaneers play at 5:30 p.m. today against Klahowya Secondary School in Silverdale.
GOLF
Kingston boys, girls defeat North Mason
The Kingston High boys and girls golf teams both defeated North Mason High Wednesday. The boys won by a score of 51-18, while the girls won, 65-14. Joe Stange took medalist honors for the boys, shooting a 41. Elle Sander was the girls’ medalist, shooting a 43.
LACROSSE
North Kitsap girls fall to Bainbridge
The North Kitsap girls lacrosse team fell to Bainbridge Island Wednesday, 17-3. It was the first win of the season for Bainbridge. Mallory Glebe scored all three goals for the winless North Kitsap squad.
