Peninsula Baseball League to hold tryouts | Sports brief

The Peninsula Baseball League, a wood bat hardball league open to men ages 18 and up, will hold tryouts at noon on April 11 at the Kitsap Fairgrounds in Silverdale. Prospective players should bring a glove and wood bat to tryouts, along with a check for $150, which will be applied toward a roster fee. The payment will be refunded for players not selected to the team. A total fee of $300 is charged to every player selected for the team and covers field rentals, umpire fees, equipment and insurance.
