The Kingston High girls tennis team defeated North Kitsap in a practice match Tuesday, 5-2.

Singles: Taylor Skansi (NK) def. Austen Turner (K) 6-2, 6-1. Stephanie Fyfe (K) def. Ana Yee (NK) 6-0, 4-6, 6-1. Anna Rushmer (K) def. Rakshya Shaha (NK) 4-6, 6-4, 6-4.

Doubles: Kelsey Grunigen/Bryana Bohl (NK) def. Olivia Guevara/Corinne Sudduth (K) 6-4, 6-2. Ericka Daniels/Lindsey Wicklein (K) def. Georgia Suter/Sarah Farmer (NK) 6-3, 6-3. Maddi Miller/Andrea Fladgard (K) def. Talia Frombach/Stephanie Bird (NK) 6-2, 6-4. Charlotte Kilborn/Graciela Molina (K) def. Maegan McClanahan/Emily Cauter (NK) 6-1, 6-1.

SOCCER

North Kitsap blanks Port Angeles

The North Kitsap High boys soccer team shut out Port Angeles Tuesday, 3-0. North took 19 shots, while Port Angeles had just four. The Vikings now have a 3-0 record this season.

Second half: 1, NK, Garrett Wilder (Ismeal DeLuna), 46th minute. 2, NK, DeLuna (Matt Turley), 58th minute. 3, NK, Daniel Norberg (Turley), 70th minute.

BASEBALL

North Kitsap tops North Mason

The North Kitsap High baseball team defeated North Mason Tuesday, 12-2. Daniel Jewett recorded the win for the Vikings.

FASTPITCH

North Kitsap falls to North Mason

The North Kitsap High fastpitch team fell to North Mason Tuesday, 10-0. Demiya Dybbro-Holt recorded the loss for North Kitsap. Emily Anderson got the win for North Mason.

GOLF

Kingston falls to Olympic

The Kingston High girls and boys golf teams fell to Olympic High Tuesday. On the girls side, Olympic tallied 68 points to Kingston’s 52. Olympic’s boys team won by a score of 47-41.

LACROSSE

North Kitsap falls to Port Angeles

The North Kitsap boys lacrosse team fell to Port Angeles Tuesday, 10-3. Keeghan Gallagher led Port Angeles with three goals and one assist. Colter Smith had two goals and an assist for North.
