Poulsbo, Kingston girls win in middle school basketball

Panther girls top McMurray, Hawkins

The Poulsbo Middle School girls basketball team defeated Vashon Island’s McMurray Middle School March 4, 27-23. Shelby Bray led Poulsbo with seven points and Rebekah Baugh added six.

The Panthers also defeated Belfair’s Hawkins Middle School on Monday, 53-11. Bray led again with nine points and Sheridan Sanchez added eight. Poulsbo travels to Kingston Middle School Thursday to face the undefeated Cavaliers. Poulsbo’s only loss this season was a 64-23 defeat at the hands of Kingston on Feb. 11.

KMS girls pound McMurray

The Kingston Middle School girls basketball team defeated Vashon’s McMurray Middle School Monday, 55-19. Kingston will host district rival Poulsbo Middle School at 3:30 p.m. Thursday.
