NK swimmers keep rolling

The North Kitsap High School boys swim team defeated Sequim Tuesday, 114-70. North Kitsap now moves to 6-1 on the season. The Vikings’ only loss came Dec. 15 against Port Angeles.

BASKETBALL

NK boys squeak past Klahowya

The North Kitsap High boys basketball team defeated Klahowya Tuesday, 58-56. David Stock led the Vikings with 15 points and six rebounds. Teammate Brandyn Winkley added 13 points and five rebounds.

Despite the win, Head Coach Tony Chisholm was frustrated with the way the Vikings played.

“We just haven’t found that knack for playing hard all the time,” Chisholm said. “We need to be consistent, that’s the bottom line. And until we get that, we’re just going to be an average basketball team.”
