BASKETBALL

Kingston girls pound Sequim

The Kingston High School girls basketball team won big at Sequim Tuesday, 68-14.

Eleven Buccaneer players scored in the win. Kingston plays its next game at 7 p.m. Friday at Olympic High.

Kingston boys squeak past Sequim

The Kingston High boys basketball team defeated Sequim in overtime Tuesday, 46-42.

Zane Ravenholt led the Buccaneers (7-2 overall) with 17 points and nine rebounds. George Hill added 12 points. Kingston hosts Olympic High at 7 p.m. Friday.

North Kitsap girls top Port Townsend

The North Kitsap girls basketball team went to Port Townsend High Tuesday and topped the Redskins, 56-39.

Indigo Williams led the Vikings with 15 points. Teammate Brandi Ritter added 11 points. North Kitsap hosts Sequim at 7 p.m. Friday.
