North Kitsap spent the weekend at the Yakima SunDome Volleyball Festival and came out with a tournament record of 3-2. Sophomore Sarah Baugh had 38 kills, 50 assists and 26 digs in the tourney, senior Taylor Ottomano had 47 kills, senior Claire Torstenbo had 10 aces, 22 digs and 10 blocks, junior Bryana Bohl had 10 aces and 47 digs and senior Katie Smeland had 26 digs.

On Saturday, Kingston fell to Chimacum in three straight sets. Despite the defeat, Head Coach Lacey Menne said the team, made up of mostly young players, had improved since losing Thursday’s home opener to Port Angeles.
