Girls' summer lacrosse leagues taking registrations

North Kitsap Lacrosse will host a girls' summer lacrosse league for players entering grades nine through 12 and a youth league for girls entering grades three through eight. Games are Wednesdays from 6:30-8 p.m. for the high school league, and 5:30-6:30 p.m. for the youth league. Both seasons will last from June 24-Aug. 12 and games will be played at the North Kitsap Stadium in Poulsbo. Register by June 20 at the Poulsbo Parks and Recreation office at 19540 Front St. League fees are $50 per player. All players must provide their own equipment. Games are officiated. NK Lacrosse offers boys' leagues

North Kitsap Lacrosse will offer summer lacrosse leagues for high school boys and youth at the NK Stadium in Poulsbo. The youth league, for boys entering grades three through eight, will play Fridays from 6-7:30 p.m. from June 26 to Aug. 14. The high school league, for boys entering grades nine through 12, will play 8-9:30 p.m. every Wednesday from June 24 to Aug. 12. Register by June 20 at the Poulsbo Parks and Recreation office at 19540 Front St. League fees are $50 per player. All players must provide their own equipment. Games are officiated. Adult lacrosse league swings into Poulsbo

The first-ever, co-ed adult summer lacrosse league in North Kitsap will begin June 26 and play every Friday through August 14. The league is open to all post-high school players regardless of residency. Teams will have equal numbers of men and women and women's lacrosse rules will apply. The emphasis will be on fun. Games will be played at the North Kitsap Stadium in Poulsbo, from 7:30-9 p.m. Register by June 20 at the Poulsbo Parks and Recreation office at 19540 Front St. The league fee is $50 per player.
