Bucs soccer loses to Klahowya, 3-0

On Tuesday the Bucs traveled to the home of the Olympic League 2A No. 2 school, the Klahowya Eagles and lost 3-0.

“They were better tactically and very patient. It was intellect over athleticism,” head coach Craig Smith wrote in an e-mail. “My hats off to them.”

Today the Bucs play the Vikings at the North Kitsap Stadium, JV starts at 5:30 p.m. and varsity at 7 p.m.

Head coach Tim French wrote in an e-mail the match was a battle between two evenly matched schools. The Vikes, he wrote, felt some of the big game pressures, and thought about too much in the first two games. In sets three and four the Vikes got back on their game, playing without hesitation and trusting their instincts.
