Baseball, fastpitch rival games cancelled in the north end March 28

KINGSTON — The Buccaneers and Vikings won't have the opportunity to see which are the better north end baseball and fastpitch teams, before spring break.

The rivalry games, scheduled for the Kingston High School fields March 28, are cancelled.

The rain is expected to continue through the afternoon of March 28, and into the evening, according to the National Weather Service. Chance of precipitation is 80-90 percent.

The cancellation — there will be a make-up game to be determined — means the teams won't play until April 8.

The Vikings baseball and softball teams will host Port Angeles. The Buccaneers host Bremerton.
