Winter Sports Previews: Vikings girls basketball

Kristin Brown, captain, G/F, 5’9” senior
A physical player who can defend and rebound with the best. She uses her speed and strength to create scoring opportunities within the structure of the offense. A difference-maker on both ends of the court.

Rebekah Baugh, captain, G, 5’9” junior
A player that great all-around skills. A gifted ball handler and true scorer who can hit from inside or out. Runs the floor very well and plays tremendous defense.

Hannah Snyder, captain, G/F, 5’8” senior
A tough player who is often assigned to the opponents top scorer or ball handler. She plays smart and within her abilities.

Molly Lemmon, F/C, 5’8” sophomore
Plays much bigger than her height might suggest. A leading rebounder who can defend tenaciously and can get out in front on breaks continuously.

Mel Hamblet, G, 5’7” junior
A solid all-around player who can score and defend. She is a capable ball handler in tough situations.

Ainsley Mckenzie, G/F, 5’9” freshman
A freshman who is already making an impact. She is pure shooter with great ball handling ability.

Anika Krol, C, 5’11” freshman
The team's tallest player. She can defend very well and gets out on the break better than most her players this tall.

Julia Ratcliff, F, 5’8” junior
A smart player who understands team concepts. She is a solid contributor on both ends of the court.

Jasmine Selembo, G, 5’5” sophomore
A guard with very strong ball-handling skills. Her speed and quickness are an asset on offense and defense.

Megan Kunold, F, 5’7” senior
A player with great natural instincts who has a nose for the ball and makes positive things happen on the court.
