Vikings represented in seven events at State, Bucs in four | Boys Swimming

POULSBO — Two relay teams and four individuals will swim for the North Kitsap Vikings at the 2A State Swimming and Diving Championships Feb. 15.

The Kingston Buccaneers will send three individuals and one relay team.

The championships are held at the King County Aquatic Center, 650 SW Campus Drive, Federal Way.

Those qualifying for finals compete Feb. 16.

State qualifying times were earned during the West Central District III meet, Feb. 8-9.

North Kitsap State qualifiers

200 Yard Freestyle — Thor Breitbarth, 2:01.30.

200 Yard I.M. — 2:14.51 Ian Christen, 2:16.50.

100 Yard Butterfly — Yorick Aban, 1:00.72.

500 Yard Freestyle – Ian Christen, 5:32.31; Thor Breitbarth, 5:33.93.

200 Yard Freestyle Relay — NK, 1:40.08.

100 Yard Backstroke — Adriel Moran, 1:04.18.

400 Yard Freestyle Relay — NK, 3:37.23

Kingston State qualifiers

200 Yard I.M. — Kevin Fox, KHS

100 Yard Butterfly — Dylan Szerlog, 1:02.97.

200 Yard Freestyle Relay — KHS, 1:40.65.

100 Yard Backstroke — Kevin Fox, 1:08.09; Paul Bradley, 1:10.32.
