For more information, go to www.nkll.com or email info@nkll.com.

Registration can be done online, by mail, or by attending a walk-in registration Jan. 27, noon to 3 p.m. at the clubhouse at Snider Park, 22898 Viking Way NW, Poulsbo.

NK Babe Ruth will have schedule changes
The North Kitsap Babe Ruth baseball league will see a few changes this year, including game schedules for 14- and 15-year-old baseball.

Teams for players age 14 and 15 will play only on Sundays, until May 10. The change reflects the league’s attempt to minimize the impact high school sports and the Babe Ruth league have on one another, and may allow players to participate in both.

After May 10, weekday games will continue for those teams.

North Kitsap Babe Ruth will inter-league with Central Kitsap Babe Ruth, with most 13-year-old games being played at Snider Field.

Skills assessments will be held at 9 a.m., Feb. 23 for 13 year olds and noon for players age 14 and 15.

A second skills assessment will be at noon, March 3 for 13 year olds and 2 p.m. for 14 and 15 year olds.

Players must attend at least one assessment.

Registration must be done by Feb. 10. To register, visit www.nkbaberuth.org and click the 2013 online registration link.
