KHS's Andersen seeds seventh into State | Girls swimming

KINGSTON — The Buccaneers girls swim team will look to continue making a splash at the 2A State swim meet Nov. 9 at the King County Aquatic Center.

The Bucs send the 200 yard Medley Relay and 200 Yard Freestyle Relay teams to State. Katherine Andersen and Miranda Hoffer will also swim two individual events apiece.

Finishing ninth at the West Central District III meet, seven points ahead of the North Kitsap Vikings, the Bucs will compete in the 200 Medley Relay first. State prelims begin at 9:45 a.m. at the aquatic center, 650 Southwest Campus Drive, Federal Way, according to the WIAA website.

Those advancing will compete in the finals, which begin at 10 a.m., Nov. 10, according to WIAA.

2A, 3A and 4A schools all compete in the aquatic center.
