Jared Prince, Kenny Alfred to host sports presentation Nov. 6 at NKHS

POULSBO — North Kitsap High School graduate Jared Prince and Gig Harbor graduate Kenny Alfred will give a presentation on how to excel through athletics Tuesday, Nov. 6.

The presentation "Excellence in Athletics: Every Day an Opportunity," will begin at 6 p.m. at the North Kitsap High School Gymnasium.

The two area graduates will discuss hard work, championship mentality and activities necessary to succeed in high school, college and professional athletics.

Prince, a 2005 graduate of NKHS, is a minor league baseball player for the Texas Rangers organization. He graduated from Washington State University in 2009, where he played ball all four years.

Alfred, a 2005 grad of Gig Harbor, is a former Tennessee Titan. He was the starting center for the WSU football team from 2005-10.
