KINGSTON — The Bremerton Knights continued to do what they have done all season, Oct. 12 at Buc Field: Shut their opponent down.

The Knights (5-0) defeated the Bucs 37-0 during the homecoming football game that put the Bremerton game on a five-game win streak.

Though the Bucs (3-2) came close to the end zone multiple times in the first half, the Knights' defense just wouldn't give it up.

The Knights put 21 up on the board in the first half, and added another 16 in the second.

The Bucs are now tied for third in the Olympic League, with the Olympic High School Trojans. The Trojans won 26-6 against North Mason.

The Kingston loss, however, benefits the North Kitsap Vikings.

The Vikings (4-1), who defeated the Port Angeles Roughriders 41-12, Oct. 12, are now second in the Olympic League. The Vikings are on a two-game win streak, previously defeating North Mason Oct. 5.

The Bucs and Vikings face each other Oct. 19 at North Kitsap Stadium. Kickoff is 7 p.m.
