NK swim team earns nine District times, KHS earns eight during home meet

POULSBO — The North Kitsap and Kingston high school swim teams saw improvements all over the board during the Oct. 10 swim meet at the North Kitsap Community Pool.

North Kitsap swimmers earned a total of nine District times. Kingston earned eight.

North's District times included: 200 Medley Relay (Hannah Uffens, Ellie Gallagher, Serita Solis and Kailey Russell), 2:03.98; 50 Free (Serita Solis) 0:26.74; 100 Fly (Hannah Uffens) 1:09.42; 100 Free (Solis) 0:58.30; 500 Free (Russell) 6:31.4; 200 Free Relay (Lizzie Donnelly, Gallagher, Diana Lemon, Solis) 1:54.49; 100 Backstroke (Uffens) 1:08.62; 100 Breaststroke (Gallagher) 1:16.62; 400 Free Relay (Donnelly, Lemon, Rusell, Uffens) 4:25.96.

Kingston's times included: 200 Free (Katherine Anderson) 2;11.69; 200 Free (Miranda Hoffer) 2:18.2; 200 I.M. (Alice Healy) 2:40.51; 100 Fly (Healy) 1:12.29; 100 Fly (Hoffer) 1:10.44; 200 Free Relay (Anderson, Madeline Glad, Healy, Hoffer) 1:56.22; 400 Free Relay (Anderson, Glad, Healy, Hoffer) 4:21.60.

West Central District III qualifying times are as follows: 200 Medley Relay, 2:20.0; 200 Free, 2:26.0; 200 I.M., 2:45.0; 50 Free, 0:29.0; 100 Fly, 1:16.0; 100 Free, 1:05.0; 500 Free, 6:40.0; 200 Free Relay, 2:06.0; 100 Backstroke, 1:17.0; 100 Breaststroke, 1:24.0; 400 Free Relay, 4:45.0.
