Christen, Colyer top first of NK's league invites Sept. 19

SILVERDALE — The North Kitsap High School cross country team just keeps at it.
Both boys and girls varsity teams won their first league meet Sept. 19 at the Kitsap County Fairgrounds.
North Kitsap competed against Olympic and North Mason high schools.
Boys varsity runner Ian Christen placed first in the 5,000 meters in 16 minutes 11 seconds.
Girls varsity runner Reagan Colyer finished first in 18 minutes 3 seconds.
The cross country team faces Kingston and Sequim Sept. 26 at Kingston High School. The meet starts at 4 p.m.
