KHS selects three coaches

KINGSTON — Three new coaches will take the helm of their respective sports next fall at Kingston High School.

Pam Manix was selected as head of the girls swim team. Mark Vanhuis is the new boys swim coach. And Matt Smith is the new the girls basketball coach. Manix served as assistant coach of the boys and girls swim teams for the past two years.

VanHuis is coordinator of the North Kitsap Community Pool.

Smith most recently served as the head junior varsity coach and varsity assistant coach for the boys basketball team at North Kitsap High School. Kingston is still seeking a head coach for the volleyball team. Candidates can apply at www.nkschools.org.
