State volleyball: East Valley falls to North Kitsap Vikings in fifth set

OLYMPIA - In a game that came down to the fifth match, the North Kitsap Vikngs volleyball team took its first State win in program history Friday.

The Vikings defeated the East Valley Wildcats 5-4 in the first round of the State volleyball tournament.

The team moves on to play White River tonight. The game is scheduled for 6:45 p.m. Because of delays and matches extending past three sets.

Scoring summary

Final: NK 5-4 (25-21, 25-20, 22-25, 16-25, 15-13)
