North Kitsap High School volleyball team prepares for league title game

POULSBO — The North Kitsap High School volleyball team is one game away from taking the Olympic League title.
The team defeated Port Townsend in three Thursday night and prepares for the final game against Port Angeles Oct. 25. The game against Port Angeles will determine the Olympic League Champions for the 2011-12 season. North and PA face each other at the North Kitsap High School gymnasium at 6:15 p.m.
North Kitsap against Port Townsend Oct. 20
Final: NK 3-0 — 25-18, 25-9, 25-11
Leaders: Sarah Baugh 12 kills, 10 assists, 8 digs; Nicole Weber 17 assists (12/12 serving); Meaghan Houser 10 kills, 14 assists, 3 blocks; Sarah Holt 5 kills; Briar Perez 4 kills; Moriah Hawkins 10 digs; Mareena Clotfelter 7 digs.
Kingston High School volleyball losses to PA in 3
PORT ANGELES — The Kingston High School volleyball team lost to Port Angeles in three Thursday night.
The team will travel to Olympic High School Oct. 25 to play its last game of the regular season.
Kingston against Port Angeles Oct. 20
Final: PA 3-0 — 25-10, 25-10, 25-18
Leaders: Sarah McMullen 10 digs; Kareena Story 5 digs; Tabitha Clifford 5 kills.
