The first All-American Soap Box Derby Rally was held Saturday and Sunday on Dauntless Drive NW in Poulsbo. Though low temperatures on Saturday forced spectators to bundle up, the racers held out for a full day of competition.

Nineteen Derby racers competed over the weekend, five of which were new to the sport. Racers ages 8-17 competed in three divisions, stock car, super stock car and masters.
