Bainbridge defeats North Kitsap 17-3 | Girls lacrosse

BAINBRIDGE ISLAND – Julie Ischer scored five goals to lead the Bainbridge Spartans to their first win of the season in a 17-3 girls defeat of rival North Kitsap, Monday at Bainbridge High School Stadium.

Both compete in Division II Southwest of the Washington Schoolgirls Lacrosse Association.

Sallie Marx, and Riley McCormick-Decker each had three goals to lead the Spartans to the win. North Kitsap’s Mallory Glebe scored two goals and Olivia Otto netted one as North Kitsap dropped its second straight.

Bainbridge (1-1-0) next faces Southwest Division rival Klahowya (2-0-0), April 8 in a 5:30 p.m. start at Klahowya Secondary School in Silverdale. North Kitsap (1-2-0) next faces Garfield (2-0-0), April 8 in a 6 p.m. start at Strawberry Field.
