Bucs cross country places in top 10

The Kingston Buccaneers cross country team walked away with both girls and boys teams in the top ten teams of the Sehome Invitational on Saturday.

The girls team placed 8th and the boys placed 10th overall. Runners from both teams were awarded medals, including junior Marina Roberts, for setting the meet record for running 2 miles in 11 minutes and 56 seconds and senior Nick Schippers for placing fourth with a time of 10 minutes and 22 seconds.

The Buccaneers next meet will be the Salt Creek Invitational in Port Angelees starting at 9:45 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 18.
