Vikings take down Knights

The Vikings tennis team continued the season with a second win against the Bremerton Knights.

The team played an away game, leaving the courts with a 6-1 victory and an undefeated record of 2-0 for the season so far.

The only loss came during two singles matches against Bremerton player Justin Wells.

All of the doubles teams walked away with a win.

The Vikings will prepare to face Port Angeles in a home game starting at 4 p.m. Monday, Sept. 13.

Singles:

(Vik win) Zach Fohn defeated James Hill- 1 and 0

(Brem win) Sebastion Ford defeated Justin Wells- 7-6, 6-3, (7-3)

(Vik win) Tyler Swansboro defeated Ezekiel Domaoel- 6-0, 3-6, 6-3

Doubles:

(Vik win) Zack Turley and Alex Olson d. Doug Erickson and Matt Pohl- 4 and 2

(Vik win) Shaun McBurney and Steven Breitmayer d. Carlo Torrella and Eric Luu 2 and 3

(Vik win) Chris Gracey and Matt Moriarty d. Marcus Coleman and Brycen Kulbeth 2 and 3

(Vik win) Riley Curtis and Nick Tedford d. Emerson Castro and Nelson Liu 6-1, 6-0
