Poulsbo Garden Club held its 13th annual plant sale May 8 at the Northwest Design Center. Thanks to a wonderful sunny day and the effort and generosity of so many, we had another successful sale.

Special thanks to Constance Swanlund, owner of Northwest Design Center, for allowing us to once again set up our event at her great location on State Route 305/Hostmark NE and to Kate Hammond of Eglon Nursery for her donation of some beautiful Japanese maples.

Several others were very generous as well. Sue Skelly of Cedar Woven Works, Lynn Ward of Molly Ward Garden and Restaurant on Big Valley Road, and our sister in the National Federation of Garden Clubs: Central Valley Garden Club. Thank you for your donations.

Many thanks to our supporters for coming out and purchasing those and the special plants dug from our members’ own gardens, allowing the club to continue to grow in knowledge and friendship and give back to the community through grants and scholarships.
