Last year I wrote a letter to the editor describing the horrible condition of the flags used to honor our veterans at the Suquamish Cemetery over Memorial Day weekend.

This year, I was pleased to see that all of those old faded, grimy and tattered flags had been replaced with bright and beautiful new ones.

Thank you very much to whomever beautiful new ones. Thank you very much to whomever is responsible for replacing all of those flags.
