We would like to express our apologies to our community.

If you didn’t see it, this past Saturday at Viking Fest there were a few people who were carrying large signs that spoke of God’s anger at those of us who were there watching the parade.

The Bible tells us that Jesus was full of both grace and truth. Grace because God wanted us to know of his love for all of us. Truth because God wanted us to know that sin only holds us back from the best of life. And if you read the gospels, the people Jesus got angry at were the ones carrying the signs – the religious people who were in effect pushing people away from God.

Please read this apology as our sign saying, “God loves you!”
