Poulsbo Businesses Reach Out

The Poulsbo Yacht Club Skylarks women’s group would like to applaud our local merchants, businesses, restaurants, caterers and wine makers who generously donated goods and services to our recent Harvest of the Heart dinner to benefit N. K. Fishline.

Despite the down economy, we were overwhelmed with whole hearted support and contributions toward the beautiful gift baskets we then raffled to our membership. The list of donors is far too long to include here with an impressive 36 businesses involved.

Twice a year the Skylarks hold fundraisers, alternating beneficiaries between our local community’s needs and the Susan G. Komen for the Cure which supports breast cancer research.

Last but not least, our hats are off to our own members who invited friends and family to multiply these donations by participating in our dinner and raffle.
