Mayor's race: Erickson did not lie

I must take issue with rebuttal statements made in a letter to the Herald (Oct. 23) that the charge appearing in the Kitsap County voters' pamphlet by Becky Erickson that decisions have been made "behind closed doors" is unfounded. Signing the letter were Kim Crowder, Connie Lord, Dale Rudolph and Ed Stern. All are Poulsbo City Councilmembers. However, some such decisions apparently have been made.

It is my understanding that, in November 2008, a "change project" for the new city hall for $115,00 had been approved and signed by Mayor Kathryn Quade before the city council had been informed or asked for its concurrence. True?
