Mayor's race: Quade is a forward thinker

As this election season winds down and the ballots are received this week, I would like to tell you about my friend Kathryn Quade.
Craig and I have lived here, had our business here, and we have been friends with Quade and her family for many years. Quade is a woman of great integrity, great strengths and has a deep love for Poulsbo and the people who live here.
Quade ran for mayor because she saw the need for a full-time mayor, one who could implement the council’s policies, manage the staff, and look forward with vision in the 21st century. When the people spoke she listened, her door is always open to citizens like you and me, and she is innovative with ideas she has presented to council.
She works well with the council, and when it has come to the controversial issues, the council has almost always had a unanimous vote. They work a a team, and that team has been supportive of one another.
Please re-elect Quade – a great, forward-thinking mayor, a mayor with integrity who has always worked in the light of day, and a mayor all of us can depend on to do the right thing – a vote for Quade is a vote for the future of Poulsbo.
