Regarding Becky Erickson and her desire to be mayor of the City of Poulsbo. I have read her published list of reasons (nine were given) why she should be mayor; and she makes a good case. In these tough times, her background and interests could serve the community very well. I have had the opportunity, as a group member, to witness her strengths in communication, organization, and follow through. The particular interests of that group relate to ongoing efforts to over-build and/or over-fill property along 4th Avenue and around the post office (a so-called transitional area). Her fortitude — her willingness to speak out — is a valued attribute. Having had the opportunity of sharing community concerns with Erickson I have come to the considered opinion she would be a worthy mayor.
