Health care town hall: Inslee did a good job at town hall
September 4, 2009 · 1:57 PM
Representative Jay Inslee led a discussion of a highly emotional issue in a kind, civil, reasoning and analytical way. At the beginning of his presentation he showed slides to illustrate the critical reasons health care reform is essential. In so doing, he brought the focus on the issue rather than on himself. When eruptions occurred, he continued on. He gave each person in the audience an equal chance to speak and to be heard. He listened to each question and attempted to answer specifically and to say what he would do for each concern.
