Jim Henry understands relationship between Poulsbo, Suquamish
July 31, 2009 · 11:30 AM
I am writing to express my support for Jim Henry, who is seeking election to the Poulsbo City Council.
Henry served for two previous terms on the City Council, during which time he was appointed to serve as City Council Liaison to the Suquamish Tribal Council. This has opened the door to a much improved relationship between the two governments. During that time his leadership has earned him an Honorary Elder status by the Tribal Elders Council.
We need Jim Henry’s hard work and leadership on the City Council again. He truly understands the value of a good working relationship between the Suquamish People and the Citizens of Poulsbo.
