Letters to the Editor

Retail Grinches are stealing Thanksgiving

The assumed increased need to get a jump on Christmas sales is driving stores to open on Thanksgiving.

Retailers are robbing people of family and friend time. The holiday is cut short so people have to go to work.

This holiday is not about commercialism and greed; it is about enjoying food, family and friends.

Boycott the insensitive retailers. Enough is enough. Friday morning is soon enough to start the shopping frenzy.

Boycott, so Thanksgiving will be preserved.
