Family thankful for efforts to find son

December 21, 2012 · Updated 1:38 PM

We want to thank the Kitsap County Sheriff’s Department for their quick response the night our son, Brandon Blanford, went missing.

We extend special thanks to the Kitsap County Sheriff’s Search & Rescue Unit; Washington Explorer Search and Rescue, Kitsap Unit; All Breed Canine Search and Rescue; German Shepherd Search Dogs of Washington State; North Kitsap Fire & Rescue; and Suquamish Police Department.

The wonderful sheriffs and overwhelming search effort helped us to cope in this crisis. Thanks again and God bless you.
