It was a successful tree-lighting

November 30, 2012 · Updated 1:30 PM

Another successful tree-lighting happened Nov. 23, with many of the community attending.

We had many businesses and individuals helping to make this a very spectacular event. I hope I haven’t forgotten anyone, it’s always hard to list everyone:

The tree was donated by St. Mick’s Tree Farm, Millican Crane hauled the tree and placed it, JJ Tree Service put the lights on the tree.

Danny Fritts provided sound. Advanced Rentals provided the tent with lights and generator. James Lumber provided lights. Northern Lights Choir sang carols. The Poulsbo Historical Society opened and staffed the Martinson Cabin.

Other support: Tim Clark from RV Diesel Repair, Craig Gresham, Jeff Uberuaga and Red Apple Market, Viking Ice Cream, Miss Poulsbo Michaela Meeker, Mayor Becky Erickson, City of Poulsbo Public Works, Poulsbo Police, Bill Austin, The Diner, ADA Engineering, Washington Tractor, Century Tel, The Herald for wonderful advertising, and all the Viking Avenue merchants with help with advertising and goodies.

A big thank you for all.
