Supports Rolfes for state Senate

We support Sen. Christine Rolfes.

On behalf of the Hood Canal Bridge Alliance, I would like to commend Sen. Rolfes for her support of our goals, and to strongly endorse her election on Nov. 6. The HCBA is a grassroots neighborhood organization formed after the bridge re-opened in 2009. Our mission is to improve traffic safety, noise mitigation and congestion, especially during bridge openings, along the Highway 3 corridor to the bridge.

Sen. Rolfes immediately became involved when we contacted her about these issues. She came to our public meetings, our committee meetings and our homes, and has been an active, ongoing support for us. It was very gratifying for our citizen group to work with a local legislator who responded, listened and took action that has helped improve transportation safety issues along that important and busy traffic corridor.

Sen. Rolfes has proven to us to be a very effective and responsive legislator, and has earned our vote in the coming election.
