Thank you for serving, Commissioner Bockus

Arnie Bockus, Port of Poulsbo commissioner, announces he will resign effective March 31.

We friends of the Port would like to publicly thank Arnie for his many contributions over the past several years. His upbeat, friendly style brought about a harmonious environment at the Port.  It is unfortunate that a solution wasn’t found to enable the Port to continue to utilize his contribution.

We will miss him, but we realize the harassment he has had to endure the past 3½ months is just not worth it. He leaves the Port in excellent financial condition and with a staff that is efficient and cooperative.
