Enjoyed article about internment order

I am a mom here in the Chico neighborhood between Bremerton and Silverdale. My son and I just read your article about the anniversary of Executive Order 9066 (“Pain, healing & gaman,” Feb. 17).  What a fantastic article. Great photos, quotes, opening, pace. All just terrific.

I read the whole thing out loud to my 11-year-old son Jonathan.  Now, we will visit the memorial on Bainbridge and keep talking about what happened there.
