Keep election coverage local and balanced

Running the anti-Republican Keefe cartoon adjacent to your Opinion editorial about the Herald’s election coverage gives me full confidence that you will avoid any bias in the results (page A4, July 1).

Can we just have a little community newspaper that doesn’t pick sides in an already caustic and politically charged era? How about just reporting on local events without becoming MSNBC?
