Excellent article on foster parents Dee and Kendra ("A full house / Foster parents provide love and care for children in need," page 1, May 6 Kitsap Week). Well written, and highlights people doing a difficult job well.

If you are able to contact the ladies, please pass on my commendation to them, and thank them for opening up their home to the community so that we could learn and appreciate the gift they are giving to many children.

I am an adoptive mother and I know how damaged these children can be, which makes Dee and Kendra extra special.
