Thank you, Dr. Couch, for the commitment
March 30, 2011 · 9:50 AM
Among the hands that reach out, Dr. Couch of Kingston Dental is a shining example. He has made a generous donation of more than $1,000, a percentage of his income for the month of October 2010, to the Kathleen Sutton Inspirational Fund. He is committed and has offered to do the same in 2011. It’s people like Dr. Couch that make it possible for women with breast, ovarian, uterus and cervical cancer to receive assistance with transportation costs to and from treatment. With the support of Dr. Couch and people like him, the fund can continue its mission.
The Fund is made up of volunteers and work with social workers located at several treatment centers in Seattle and the Olympic and Kitsap peninsulas who can also help arrange for our services. Women living in Clallam, Jefferson, Kitsap and North Mason are eligible for support.
The financial burden that women face leaves them with making a decision of putting food on the table for their children or paying for gas, ferry tickets and parking for treatment. No women should have to make this choice!
From the bottom of our hearts and with the greatest appreciation, thank you, Dr. Couch!
