Community’s provided 700 food baskets
December 30, 2010 · 10:06 AM
I would like to extend a big thank you to all in the community who helped NK Fishline provide food baskets for Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners. Because of your great generosity we provided over 700 food baskets to your neighbors in need this holiday season.
In particular I would like to thank Albertson’s customers, Poulsbo Lions, Poulsbo Optimist club, Holmes Mechanical, Action Training, Hill Moving, Poulsbo Red Apple, NK Blast, Poulsbo Volunteer Fire, and the Poulsbo Police, as well as First Lutheran Church, Christ Memorial Church, North Point Church, St. Vincent de Paul at St. Olaf’s, Vinland Lutheran Church, and Suquamish United Church of Christ.
I also want to thank all the regular volunteers at Fishline who adjust and adapt to me whirling through the food bank. A special thanks to the staff for their support of this program.
Kathy Smith,
holiday basket coordinato
