As someone who grew up with Greg Sandstrom, served as a staff person for a United States senator and is married to a former state Senator, I believe I understand the true definition of public servant, and that is Greg Sandstrom. He has spent his entire career serving the people of Kitsap County. First as a Washington State Trooper, then as a chaplain for the South Kitsap Fire and Rescue, this is a man with integrity.

For the past 12 years as Kitsap County Coroner, he has supported bereaved families through the loss of loved one. And skillfully investigated deaths to derive accurate outcomes. And in these very challenging economic times, had the ability to manage the coroner’s office prudently without sacrificing services to the citizens of the county.

Sandstrom is an elected official who effectively works in a bi-partisan fashion. Which once again speaks to his desire to be a public servant, not a politician? Kitsap County should re-elect Greg Sandstom as Kitsap County Coroner.
