The city spent itself into this mess

I am sure that some employees (in the near future) would like to thank the Poulsbo City Council for not having a job because of their attitude of spend, spend. For example, buying pieces of land here and there, buying buildings that they are not using and, of course, the monster downtown that will cost a monthly payment of $50,000 or more. Maybe the council should cut the staff’s wages to help keep jobs and maybe cut their own wages to help. Is not this a good idea?
