Thank you for supporting the Kathleen Sutton Fund

There are truly not enough words to express our gratitude to the many supporters who contributed so generously to the Kathleen Sutton Fund’s 12th annual auction on Oct. 4. It was a beautiful day in Port Gamble at the Pavilion that more than 250 guests attended this great event.

Supports increase in liveaboards at Poulsbo Marina

Potential and current liveaboard tenants are taxpaying residents and merchants of Poulsbo. They contribute greatly to the community and are capable of finding a place to park their car in the existing permitted areas.

Opposed to hike in utility rates

Enough is enough! Regarding the stormwater rate increase (page A1, Oct. 17 Herald), I am flabbergasted that the city suggests a 53 percent increase next month.

Supports Flood for District Court judge

Claire Bradley will make a bad judge. She recently conspired with her campaign manager Matt Clucas to reduce the charges for that attorney’s client, Marcus G. Croman. Croman was driving with a suspended license for unpaid child support, when he struck two people walking from the casino. He left the scene and was arrested at home.

Supports Hauge for prosecutor

I am voting for Russ Hauge and I hope you will join me. For the past 19 years, he has been exemplary as our county prosecutor. Those who know him best professionally are his legal peers in the Kitsap County Bar Association (KCBA). In KCBA’s recent poll of candidates, Russ far outdistanced his opponent in the “highly qualified” and “preferred candidate” categories.
