White House deceptive regarding Orlando

What a farce this White House is now directing: Obama and his advisers probably think their ardent fans will believe anything. I know the LGBTQ community will not and I just hope we all let the President know the truth is important for us Americans, especially when we face well-identified adversaries. And I am not talking about alligators.

Lying by overstatement and omission is still frowned upon by me and most folks I know.

Frustrated with direction of politics in this country

In the lawsuit "Fisher vs. University of Texas," by a 4-3 vote the court upheld the college’s Affirmative Action Policy and thereby confirmed that race can in fact be used as a consideration in determining who can (or cannot) be admitted into their educational system. Thus, the court has basically legalized the further discrimination against whites.

More consideration for birds than people

At least Congress can protect ducks, even if they have been unable to do the will of the overwhelming majority of the people and save the lives of hundreds of our innocent fellow citizens.

Priorities out of whack at Port of Poulsbo

Judging by the disappearance of so many long-term tenants in the last three years, I’m pretty sure the threat of “I’m outta here” bears no weight within the Poulsbo Port Commission or port office.
